The University is conducting a national search for Trinity’s next vice president for Finance and Administration (VPFA). This search follows the announcement of Gary Logan’s retirement after more than 20 years of service to the Trinity community.
“This leader will be an essential part of the University’s future and implementation of our next strategic plan,” says Vanessa B. Beasley, Ph.D., president of Trinity University. “Following Trinity’s commitment to enduring excellence, the VPFA will continue to strengthen our financial position in support of the academic pursuits and operational needs of our campus community.”
Reporting to the President and guided by the University’s strategic plan, the vice president for Finance and Administration serves as the chief business officer and chief financial officer of the University and is responsible for all financial accounting, reporting systems, related internal control systems, and operational oversight.
Russell Reynolds Associates has been selected to support the search. A search committee of Trinity community members has been created. Craig Crow, Chief Investment Officer, serves as chair of the search committee. Effective January 2, 2024, Crow reports directly to President Beasley.
“We are dedicated to selecting a dynamic, proven candidate who will embrace a culture of transparency and collaboration while facilitating comprehensive financial planning and budgeting initiatives,” Crow says.
The search committee includes:
Craig Crow, Chief Investment Officer
Luisa Casso, Chief of Staff, Office of the President
Nels Christiansen, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Social Science and Civic Engagement
Gen. J. Thomas Hill, Trustee, Trinity University, and alumni
Mauro Oliveira, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Finance and Decision Sciences
